Mindy finds inspiration for her figurative pieces in her everyday life. The walls of her home are covered in portraits of her family, and especially portraits of her two daughters. She is known (and teased) for taking pictures of strangers on the street who she feels are interesting. Her mission in regards to her figurative oil paintings is to tell a story through each portrait, to preserve a piece of the subject’s soul forever. With a canvas and brush, Mindy turns a moment into an eternity.
